Rooms, Nights,
Places and Faces

Nothing is presented as background; everything insists on being seen in the space between.

Color after dark

Late-night light, oversaturated reds and the moment a room changes temperature before anyone says a word.

Notes

The things
that stay

A smiling person in a black leather jacket at a dim gathering, photographed on film.

01 · Faces

The room tells you who it is before the brief does.

I look for the gestures, glances and small shifts in energy that make a project feel inhabited rather than simply produced.

Guests with wine glasses gathered around a bar under paper lanterns, photographed on film.

02 · Nights

Atmosphere is a form of direction.

The best experiences are built from a hundred details that know how to work together: light, sound, pacing, people and the feeling of being let in.

A beach seen through a flower vase in black-and-white film photography.

03 · Places

Colour is where the feeling becomes visible.

I am drawn to colour that carries memory: the blue of a morning after, the red of a crowded room, the yellow that makes a place feel almost unreal.

Music

What is
playing

Music is part of how I read a room. This is the running list: records, mixes and voices that are shaping the atmosphere lately.

  • 01Life and Deathlate-night colour, pressure and release
  • 02DJ Tennisthe sound of a world still becoming
  • 03Higher Groundwide-open, playful, built for movement
  • 04Ninja Tunestrange edges and beautiful detail
